Farrington Gurney Memorial Hall is a modern, well equipped building with full disabled access, available for hire at a very competitive rate. It is located adjacent the village recreation field & play area in Farrington Gurney with on-site parking facilities for approximately 50 vehicles.

Internally the facilities are extensive, providing for a varied range of hire requirements including Weddings, private parties & functions, community activities and commercial events.

The main hall space, with its picturesque views across the fields to the village church, can comfortably accommodate 100 formally seated guests or around 160 guests in an informal setting.

A fully equipped kitchen is available for use by the hirer or their professional caterer and a licenced bar can be requested when making a booking.

The floor area of the main hall is 16m long by 10m wide and a demountable 24 m2 stage is available which can be positioned anywhere within the floor space. A 36 channel lighting system provides professional standard Stage Lighting for artistic and musical events. The installed Public Address sound system, incorporating a hearing loop for the hard of hearing, is available for presentational and theatrical purposes. The sound and lighting systems are controlled from an overhead balcony position within the main hall space.

The building was also designed with sporting activities in mind and can be hired for a range of indoor sporting activities including badminton to county standard. Changing Room facilities include home & away team showers and also separate referee facilities to support usage of the adjoining football pitches and cricket field. Outside there is a Tennis Court available for hire with evening lighting if required.
